"A New Lease on Life"
By Sarah Thompson, Community Outreach Coordinator
When Maria lost her job and faced eviction, she turned to 4 Eleven Inc.'s housing assistance program. Through our partnership with local landlords and job training initiatives, Maria not only secured stable housing but also found a new career in healthcare administration. Today, she's thriving and giving back to the community that supported her.
"Bridging the Digital Divide"
By David Jones, Technology Solutions DirectorIn a low-income neighborhood where internet access was scarce, 4 Eleven Inc. launched a digital literacy program. We provided computers and free Wi-Fi to community centers, along with training sessions for residents. John, a 65-year-old retiree, learned to use email and video calls, reconnecting with family members across the country. The program has since expanded, benefiting over 500 residents and improving job prospects for many.
"Empowering Young Entrepreneurs"
By Lisa Davis, Youth Mentorship Program Lead
Through our Youth Entrepreneurship Workshop, we met Jamal, a high school student with a passion for sustainable fashion. With mentoring and seed funding from 4 Eleven Inc., Jamal launched a small business creating upcycled clothing. His success inspired other teens, and the program has now nurtured 20 youth-led businesses, fostering economic growth and environmental awareness in the community.
